DESCRIPTION

Chemical and petrochemical processes can release hydrogen, ethylene, propane and flammable solvent vapours. Areas may be classified as Zone 0, 1 or 2 under IEC/ATEX, or Class I, Division 1 or 2 under NEC. Electrical equipment must match the area classification, gas group, temperature class and site conditions.
